Placemat - Karo and Karaka Berries

A striking cork backed placemat with a beautiful Karo and Karaka berries illustrated design on a black background by NZ artist Tanya Wolfkamp. Karo is a small bushy tree endemic to New Zealand which produces bunches of dark red flowers in spring and early summer. Karakak trees are also native to NZ and are found in coastal regions. The large, dark green and very glossy leaves and produce orange berries which contain seeds that are poisonous unless roasted.  A matching coaster is also available. These coasters and placemats will look good in any home and make great house warming gifts!!  Sold individually.
