Decorative ceramic hanging Kotare feather. Perfect on any wall. Each feather is individually hand made in Northland by ceramic artist Michelle Bow using locally sourced clay. The Kotare or Kingfisher is found throughout the country in both coastal and inland freshwater habitats. They live in a wide range of habitats, including forest, river margins, farmland, lakes, estuaries and rocky coastlines. The sacred kingfisher, admired for being a watchful sentry, also a symbol of peace and love.
Each feather comes with a swing tag explaining it's meaning.
