Folding Opinel Oyster Knife

This marvelous little tool has a robust, pointed  6.5cm stainless steel blade which is perfect for openeing oysters and other shellfish without damaging them. The Virobloc safety system locks the blade open or closed. The short blade's unique design centers the knife’s axis to facilitate easy oyster opening.  While Opinel is known for its signature sharp blades, this knife features a blunted blade with a sharp tip, specific to oyster shucking. The padouk wood handle is resistant to swelling, and utilized for its ability to hold up well in humid or wet environments. It provides a good grip for rotary and up and down movements. Comes presented in a box and includes a ittle booklet with tips for successful oyster shucking.  Made in France
